How do the pricing tiers work and is there a free tier?
Yes, Elite Stock offers a free entry-level tier called Select, which gives your operation a professional profile in the breeder directory at no cost. From there, Premium ($350/year) and Elite ($600/year) unlock progressively more powerful marketing tools including additional images, sale catalogue features, news stories, and sale calendar listings.
What is the practical difference between the tiers?
The Select tier gets your operation listed and discoverable. Premium and Elite are for breeders who want to actively market - adding richer multimedia content, more news stories, and greater visibility throughout the platform. If you're running annual bull sales and want buyers engaged well before sale day, the paid tiers give you the tools to do that effectively.
Can I use my profile as my website?
Yes. Every Elite Stock breeder profile has its own unique web address that can be shared anywhere - on business cards, at sales, or in your email signature. If you have a custom domain, it can be redirected directly to your profile page. For operations without a dedicated website, your Elite Stock profile functions as a complete, professional digital home that's searchable by Google and accessible on any device.
Can I update and make profiles throughout the year?
On the paid tiers, yes! You have unlimited changes so can make editions or deletions anytime throughout the year. Simply contact us, let us know what changes you would like and we take care of them for you. You will be notified to check for accuracy once the changes are complete.
How do I get listed on Elite Stock?
Use our online order form or contact the Elite Stock team directly. We'll walk you through the setup and get your operation in front of buyers quickly.
How does highlighting a particular animal with a link to their pedigree work?
You can feature individual animals for sale, including images, video and a link to their pedigree on the brand association website, within both your profile and sale listing. This gives serious buyers direct access to the genetic data they need to make purchasing decisions without leaving the app. There is a $8 fee for each animal profiled.
How and when am I charged form my premium profile/sale listing?
Upon your approval of the profile, you will be invoiced on the first day of the following month, then yearly after that. You can cancel at any time. Invoices can be paid by credit card, electronic funds transfer or cheque made payable to Sommer Digital. What do you need from me to get started?
In many cases we can build your profile from accessible assets we find online, including your website, sale catalogue and social media channels.You are welcome to provide direction and submit assets at anytime. We want to make this easy for you.
How do I request and submit information for my news story?
To make it easy, we have created three ways to submit the information for your news stories. The first is to have an interview with our virtual reporter. We have developed this solution specifically for the busy rancher. The virtual reporter will ask you the appropriate questions that need to be answered so we can develop the story. The second option is to send us the information you have and we can compile the story from their. If you have someone who has written the story, you can submit that as well. Make sure you always include at least one image.
